Hi everyone. I have just returned from a ten-day trip to Iceland, traveling with Colby Brown and Peyton Hale. I have quite a few images to share from this trip ranging from some of the iconic locations to architecture, and even the Icelandic Horses. A lot of this trip is still sinking in as I continue to ponder the sheer beauty of Iceland.
So, I will begin a series of posts with this image from an amazing evening at Kirkjufell. The skies were virtually clear on our arrival but we watched as two sets of clouds, from the east and west, advanced to meet over the mountain. Combined with the setting sun, the entire landscape came alive in a beautiful twilight light. I hope you enjoy this first image and please stay tuned for more.
TECHNICAL: This image was shot with the amazing Tokina FiRIN 20mm f2.0 FE MF on a Sony a7RII. I reviewed this lens several posts back and it certainly did not disappoint on my Iceland trip. The image was exposed at ISO 100 at f13 for 2.5 seconds. The image was processed from a single RAW file in Lightroom with final layer work done in Photoshop.
Thanks for stopping by! RHC
