Hi everyone. I am pleased to present my Top 18 images from this years photographic travels and explorations. This year I stayed a little closer to home and spent more time in some of my favorite places as well as exploring several new locations. I have not loaded these images in any specific order and I also did not limit them to a Top 12. Out of the hundreds of image I made these photographs essentially represent my favorites because of what they ultimately mean to me.
MConnells Mill State Park lies in the Western part of Pennsylvania, not far from Slippery Rock. It is a unique location that features a gorge, hanging waterfalls, a white water creek, and was created by a glacial event. I have spent a lot of time exploring and photographing in this area of the park and in a glacial gorge that formed Muddy Creek.
I have come to realize just recently, a fact that was pointed out to me by one of my friends, that my work seems to have turned more towards waterfalls. I do not believe this is a deliberate attempt to specifically exclude other types of landscapes, and by that I mean anything that does not include water.
